Candidate must have legal work status for Canada.

Client Location is downtown Montreal, QC

Hybrid - In-Office 3 days per week.

Perm - salary and benefits OR contract - 6 months to start, renewable.

Description:

Looking for a Solutions Architect with technology solution architecture experience within network and infrastructure domains to bring together modern and legacy systems. The ideal candidate will help create capabilities as services, network as a service, enable new API gateway to be managed externally, backup recovery and protection as a service.


Responsibilities:
  1. Work collaboratively with architects, software/data/cloud engineers, and product owners in an agile environment to create solution architecture design for Cloud and On-Premises technology solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
  2. Construct architectural artifacts in support of the solution design of robust, reusable, scalable and secure technology solutions leveraging approved component architecture standards, architectural patterns, and reference architectures.
  3. Design APIs and data delivery services to support critical operational, processes, analytical models, and machine learning applications.
  4. Manage stakeholder communication, presenting complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
  5. Service delivery automation architect, transform IT service delivery through a streamlined, secure, and efficient automated service delivery process.

Requirements:
  1. Five years plus of collective experience in the application of architecture, enterprise roadmaps, analytics, network, IT strategies, innovation, agile and waterfall methodologies.
  2. Worked as a solution architect for a large multinational corporation.
  3. Extensive experience integrating on modern and legacy systems.
  4. Experience creating solutions as a service.
