News Journalist

Pattison Media’sCFJC newsroom is seeking to add a Journalist to our award-winning newsroom.

The ideal candidate will have a keen sense of curiosity and an ability to identify and develop stories. We are searching for an individual who can produce and present their stories with creativity and professionalism. Strong social media skills would be an added bonus.

The winning candidate will be expected to arrange and conduct interviews, produce daily news stories as well as more in-depth features on a wide range of subjects. They will need to work well individually and as a teammate in our experienced newsroom. Their role will include producing and presenting stories for radio, television and online consumption.

Candidates should have:

• The ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• A valid class 5 driver’s license.
• Video shooting and editing skills (bonus).

This is a full-time permanent position.
