About The Role

As a Commercial Litigation Lawyer at the Firm, you will be involved in all aspects of litigation including mediations, arbitration, trials, and appeals, in a broad scope of commercial and general litigation matters. You will have the opportunity of working in an entrepreneurial atmosphere and as part of a collegial team, all the while further developing your career.

What You Bring

  1. Intermediate to Mid-Level (5 Years +)
  2. Applicants must have the ability to work both collaboratively in a cordial Boutique Environment with senior lawyers and also independently
  3. Developed an intimate acquaintance with the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure and Practice Directions honed on motions and in court
  4. Exceptional legal writing and communication skills;
  5. Sound judgment and legal reasoning, excellent analytical skills and creativity in solving problems;
  6. Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, present a clear plan to the client, and communicate instructions rigorously and precisely;
  7. Proven advocacy talent;
  8. High integrity and intellectual rigor;
  9. Strong interpersonal skills;
  10. An entrepreneurial spirit and keen interest in building client relationships;
  11. Able to work independently, as well as in a team.
