The Rehabilitation Product Specialist is an integral part of the Lawtons Home Health Care team with a focus on the assessment, recommendation and sale of rehab and mobility equipment to Lawtons store customers and external healthcare providers, such as long-term care, hospitals and rehab centers. Actively contributes to a positive and productive working environment.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
  1. Understand and respond to local market needs and competition.
  2. Demonstrate superior account management skills.
  3. Develop deep and broad product knowledge in order to provide effective presentations to potential customers.
  4. Role model and reinforce customer service expectations on a daily basis for all staff.
  5. Develop strong working relationships with Occupational Therapists, nursing and other allied healthcare professionals in territory.
  6. Respond quickly and knowledgeably to customer inquiries.
  7. Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets and report as required on progress.
  8. Participate with manager on planning and forecasting sales and growth areas for the business.
  9. Ensure corporate credit card is paid in full each month.
  10. Submit properly completed expense reports.
What you have to offer:

Required:

  1. 3 years sales experience.
  2. Valid driver’s license and clean abstract.
  3. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  4. Strong communication, customer service and organizational skills.
  5. Knowledge of the experience in the rehab and mobility industry.
  6. High school or equivalent.
  7. Bilingual (French & English).
  8. Related industry experience.
  9. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  10. Physical work including bending, lifting, and reaching.
  11. Exposure to varying temperatures over short periods of time.
  12. Exposure to sanitation and cleaning chemicals.
  13. Flexible hours and overtime.

This is a Sales Representative position for the area of Western and Central NL (Terra Nova West) based out of Lawtons Topsail Road.
