We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Labrador City.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Providing technical leadership and oversight on a variety of projects related to structural engineering for our heavy industrial clients.
  2. Managing and leading a team of engineers and designers.
  3. Performing structural analysis and design.
  4. Preparing and reviewing project reports, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  5. Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other design professionals to ensure successful project delivery.
  6. Attending project meetings and coordinating with client representatives and contractors as required during the construction phase.
  7. Conducting site visits to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or remediation.
  8. Reviewing and providing technical guidance on structural engineering standards and codes.
  9. Mentoring junior engineers and providing guidance and support as needed.

Our essentials:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in structural engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in Industrial, Mining & Metal, Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Power or Nuclear plants/facilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team of engineers and designers.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
