La Direction générale des transports est chargée de fournir un carrefour de transport général axé sur la planification, la mise en œuvre, les activités et la prestation de tous les modes de transport de la Ville d'Ottawa.

Le titulaire est le spécialiste technique de la direction générale pour les projets technologiques majeurs; il est responsable de l'organisation, de la direction, de la coordination et de la surveillance de la mise en œuvre des solutions opérationnelles et technologiques. Les projets sont extrêmement complexes; d'une valeur de plusieurs millions de dollars; peuvent attirer l'attention du public; constituent une priorité de la direction générale ou de la Ville; peuvent présenter un risque considérable; se composent souvent de plusieurs sous-projets; et peuvent s'étendre sur de multiples années. Les projets incluent : d'importants projets d'immobilisations.

Le titulaire fournit des services de consultation à la Direction générale et à la Direction dans les domaines de la gestion de projet, de l'analyse opérationnelle, de l'examen des processus et de la mise en œuvre de processus remaniés et de technologies nécessaires pour soutenir ou étendre les activités opérationnelles.

Le titulaire gère les équipes de projet en faisant appel à des fournisseurs de services ou à des experts-conseils contractuels. Dans le cadre des pouvoirs délégués, le titulaire est responsable de toutes les phases d'exécution des projets, allant des débuts jusqu'à l'appel d'offres et la sélection des experts-conseils. Une fois que le projet d'immobilisations est terminé, le titulaire est responsable de la surveillance continue de l'entretien lié au cycle de vie.

FORMATION ET EXPÉRIENCE

Baccalauréat spécialisé en génie, en architecture, en administration publique, en administration des affaires, en systèmes de gestion de l'information ou dans un domaine connexe, avec spécialisation en planification et en gestion de projets.

Sept (7) années d'expérience dans la gestion de projets complexes dans le domaine des transports, y compris une expérience des processus budgétaires ou financiers des projets.

PERMIS ET ACCRÉDITATIONS

Accréditation à titre de professionnel(le) en gestion de projet (PMP) ou certification équivalente.

COMPÉTENCES ET APTITUDES

  • Avoir la capacité manifeste de travailler de façon autonome ainsi qu'en collaboration avec tous les membres d'une équipe;
  • Être capable de superviser, de diriger, d'encadrer et de motiver le personnel;
  • Avoir la capacité d'organisation et la souplesse nécessaires pour planifier et ordonnancer son propre travail et celui des autres;
  • Être en mesure de raisonner et de planifier stratégiquement;
  • Solides aptitudes en recherche, en analyse et en règlement des problèmes;
  • Aptitude à gérer des projets complexes et à les mener à bien en respectant les délais et le budget;
  • Bien maîtriser l'utilisation d'applications logicielles complexes et avancées;
  • Posséder d'excellentes compétences interpersonnelles ainsi qu'en matière de communication et de rédaction de rapports;
  • Exigences linguistiques : Connaissance de l'anglais parlé, lu et écrit.
