Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager to manage, and drive the company’s regulatory department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to take their career in Regulatory Affairs to the next level, and be part of a company that truly invests in its employees.What we are looking for:Experience monitoring regulatory agencies and publications.Build and maintain of the packaging/labelling databases.Create and review artwork (new and existing products, all brands) for regulatory and language compliance in the primary target countries/jurisdictions.Ensuring all government, internal, certifying-agency requirements are met for any claims made for the products.Create overall regulatory strategy and implement plans for CFIA.Work with Quality team and the company’s SOP, GMP, HACCP, regulatory and quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.Continual assessment of existing compliance management systems.Create and update New Product Assessments for Canadian Regulatory compliance in a timely manner.Provide support to write SDS and labels that correctly reflect requirements under WHMIS and other requirements.Experience and qualifications we are looking for:Bachelor’s Degree in Food or Nutrition Science, or a related subject requiredStrong knowledge of methodologies of regulatory affairs in the North American food manufacturing sectorWorking knowledge of regulatory processes in globallyWhat we provide:A great salary, bonus and benefits package.A chance to join an industry leader upon expansion.If you are someone that is ideal for this position and have a passion to be part of a high potential food company please submit your resume in Word format.
