Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and validation of electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and engineers, to develop electrical power distribution designs for large-scale projects.
Provide expertise in lighting, fire alarms, communication systems, and process control for both new and existing buildings.
Manage projects involving electrical infrastructure, including high voltage (up to 44kV) power distribution.
Perform detailed analysis and troubleshooting of technical issues, offering practical recommendations and solutions.
Develop and review engineering specifications, contract documentation, and project progress reports.
Ensure all designs adhere to industry codes, safety standards, and client requirements.
Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technicians, reviewing and marking up designs to ensure accuracy and quality.
Design primary and secondary power distribution systems, including high and low-voltage equipment.
Conduct site visits to inspect electrical installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
Serve as a technical consultant, both in-house and on-site, providing expert advice and troubleshooting support.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng).
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably in Food & Beverage or Pharmaceuticals.
Strong knowledge of HVAC controls and Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
Proven experience with electrical system design, particularly in a consulting or project management capacity.
Familiarity with complex electrical distribution networks, including cogeneration systems.
Ability to travel to client sites as required, with reliable personal transportation.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
