As a Financial Analyst at Group Quest, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team atmosphere where you will focus on renewals and retention, carrier relationship management, and driving growth. You are great at identifying opportunities by reviewing client data and claims experience to support your recommendations with the insurance carriers to come up with the best resolution for the client.

What you’ll do as a Financial Analyst, Renewals:

Coordinate: with Account Executives for direction on 20%+ renewal offerings, and/or erroneous situations and all advisor communication

Analyze: and negotiate group renewals, 35 lives and under, from insurers for accuracy and completeness, and work with insurers until renewals are accepted

Prepare: reports for advisors based on findings and recommendations for insured renewals

Build relationships: with carriers, internal team members, and provide excellent customer service

Grow – your skills and knowledge especially as it relates to the Group Benefits industry. GroupQuest is focused on helping people grow as individuals and professionals

All-star candidates will have:

  • 2+ years of experience in the group benefits industry
  • 2+ years working Client focused with commitment for service excellence
  • Bilingual (French/English) would be an asset
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • A positive attitude and problem solving instincts to ensure existing accounts are maintained and solutions are recommended based on the full need of the client
  • Experience with tough conversations and feel comfortable communicating important details
  • A friendly, professional approach in all forms of communication
  • A preference for analytics and enjoy working with numbers
  • Experience performing duties related to Customer Service including using Email, Excel, and Microsoft suite systems

This full time role requires minimal lifting and working from a seated position for periods of time. This role is typically performed in an office based environment which may be at GroupQuest's head office located in Mississauga, a People Corporation work center in Canada or hybrid.
