Colections Specialist

Position: Collections Specialist
Location: West Island, Montreal (3 days in office 2 days remote)
Salary: $60,000
Benefits: 3 weeks of vacation, RRSP matching, and full benefits paid

Our client, a leading distributor within the heavy machinery industry, is expanding their team and is actively seeking a Collections Specialist to join them Apply today and be part of a growing corporation

Main Requirements:

- At least 2 years of credit collections experience
- Knowledge of billing and collections procedures
- Strong attention to detail and goal-oriented
- Excellent customer service commitment
- Fluently bilingual to communicate with customers outside of Quebec
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

- Handle collection calls and correspondence
- Address collection issues, review account adjustments, and resolve discrepancies
- Perform customer calls, small balance write-offs, and reconciliations
- Assist the Accounts Receivable Department with various tasks
- Collaborate with the Credit Department and sales team to expedite collections
- Issue invoices and credit statements to customers
- Effectively communicate and follow up with the sales department on customer accounts
- Foster cooperative working relationships with the sales team
