As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a Plasma Table Programmer to join our dynamic team and support both existing and new product development initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs the conversion of drawings into CNC cut files for R&D and Production at SRP for both plasma metal cutting machine and all CNC router tables.
  • Develop an understanding of the plasma table and programming
  • Create files for efficent use of materials
  • Understanding 2D Drawings and 3D models of assemblies, BOM's and shop drawings.
  • Building and testing prototypes
  • Assisting with materials pricing, vendor selection and best manufacturing practices.
  • Evaluating current designs for cost-cutting and implementing easier or more efficent manufacturing methods.
  • Assist in the developing and maintaining company design standards to streamline the enginerring and production process for each project.

Education and/or Experience
  • 2D and 3D modeling understanding
  • ProNest (Hypertherm) Solid works and Auto CAD
  • Experience understanding shop drawings, working with document libraries, knowledge of welding and metal fabrication.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse population of disciplines including factory workers, supervisors and managers,
