The Job:

In a nutshell, we're looking for closers. We're seeking a sales-focused salesperson to join our retail team. In this role, you will play a key part in guiding customers through the product selection process, helping them make informed choices while driving sales and enhancing the overall customer experience. Your passion for customer engagement, keen eye for detail, and strong sales acumen will be essential in creating a seamless and enjoyable purchasing journey for our clients.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Sales & Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide expert guidance on design selections, products, and customization options.
  • Product Consultation: Assist clients in selecting materials, finishes, colors, and layouts that align with their style preferences and functional needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of product offerings, pricing, and trends to provide well-informed recommendations and upsell opportunities.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Drive revenue by meeting and exceeding sales targets through consultative selling and relationship-building techniques.
  • Showroom Presentation: Ensure the design centre is visually appealing, organized, and stocked with relevant samples and displays.
  • Order Processing & Documentation: Accurately process orders, maintain detailed customer records, and coordinate with suppliers or internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional post-sales support, addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with other sales associates, designers, and management to enhance the overall shopping experience.

What We're Looking For In A Successful Individual:

  • Sales-Driven Mindset: Previous experience in retail sales, design consultation, or a related field with a strong sales focus.
  • Passion for Design: Background or interest in interior design, home improvement, or architecture is an asset.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to actively listen, present solutions effectively, and build rapport with customers.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to think on your feet and provide creative solutions to customer needs.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with design software, CRM systems, and order processing tools is a plus.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: Ability to manage multiple projects, maintain accurate records, and follow up effectively.
  • Team Player: Works well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Initiative: A "take the opportunity and run with it" attitude and operating with a focus on urgency and objectives
