SUMMARY : The Driver-AZ is responsible for completing daily local deliveries of natural stone by following CVOR regulations and safe driving protocol at all times.

Work Hours : Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, and alternating Saturdays
Compensation: This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $26 to $29 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $60,000 and $70,000 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.

Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for delivering granite, marble and quartz slabs.
  2. Performing local deliveries with multiple stops, and interacting with customers.
  3. In charge of maintaining a legal and accurate log book.
  4. Follow safety procedures in all aspects of the job.
  5. Responsible for reading the Bill of Lading and picking sheets.
  6. In charge of positioning the blocks and ties, straps, chains and binders for cargo securement.
  7. Able to assist in loading, unloading, and securing of cargo.
  8. Generate 137lbs of vertical push/pull force.
  9. Able to lift and transfer 65lbs.
  10. Able to carry at least 30lbs the length of the truck bed.
  11. Able to ascend and descend multiple-rung ladder.
  12. Able to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch.
  13. Able to work at elevated height of 72” above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment.
  14. Able to work at lowered height of 6” above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment.
  15. Perform various warehouse duties as needed.
  16. Perform additional duties as required and or requested.

Requirements:
  1. High School Education preferred.
  2. One (1) year of verifiable driving experience.
  3. Must be able to pass a skilled test (driving test).
  4. Must be able to pass CVOR pre-employment requirements.
  5. Bilingual a plus, but not necessary.
  6. Must possess a Valid Class AZ CDL.
  7. Driver abstract and CVOR report required.

This role has the following physical demands:
  1. Generate 137lbs of vertical push/pull force.
  2. Able to lift and transfer 65lbs.
  3. Able to carry at least 30lbs the length of the truck bed.
  4. Able to ascend and descend multiple-rung ladder.
  5. Able to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch.
