One of our MSP clients is looking for an experienced and skilled system administrator to join their infrastructure team. This is a critical role for our client in providing advanced support to their managed services clients on servers, networks, phone systems, and cloud systems including Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide tier 3 support to managed service clients, troubleshooting complex issues and maintaining system reliability.
  2. Administer, manage, and optimize infrastructure components including servers, networks, and cloud environments such as O365/Azure services.
  3. Design and implement hardware and software policies and processes, establishing secure practices and machine best practices.
  4. Liaise with stakeholders to create a platform roadmap and define priorities.
  5. Monthly reporting to management and creating a roadmap.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's in technology, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
  2. 5+ years of experience in cloud administration, system support, and maintenance.
  3. Expertise in Microsoft O365 and Azure AD.
  4. Server maintenance and backups.
  5. In-depth knowledge of networking, including routers, switches, firewalls, LAN, WAN, VPN, network security systems, and intrusion detection systems.
  6. Experience in Intune, Defender, Exchange, and other Microsoft applications.
