BIOVECTRA Inc. is a leading bio-science business in Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, focused on contract manufacturing and product development of active pharmaceutical ingredients, pharmaceutical intermediates, and bioreagents.

As a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) we provide solutions, services, and products to the world’s top pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Our drug products have been used in therapeutics to treat cancer, kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, multiple sclerosis, and other diseases.

Locations/ Facilities: 5 cGMP facilities located in Charlottetown, PE and Windsor, NS. Coming soon we will open a new science facility in HRM.

Our latest expansion will see the completion of one of Canada’s first mRNA vaccine and biomanufacturing facilities right here in Charlottetown and our workforce will grow by 125 new employees. We are building, in both PEI and Nova Scotia, the new capabilities needed to develop and produce clients’ vaccines that can protect populations against future pandemics and make the next generation of life-saving treatments available to patients.
