Travaillant sous la supervision du chef de groupe de conception H/W, votre principale responsabilité comme concepteur principal en électronique, sera de créer les prochaines générations d’instruments de tests et de mesures en télécommunication faisant partie du portfolio de produits d’EXFO.

Votre rôle

Plus spécifiquement, et en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec les autres groupes de la R&D (FPGA, F/W, S/W, etc.), votre travail consistera à étudier et comprendre les requis des futurs produits et concevoir des circuits donnant des solutions optimales pour les produits visés.

Vous aurez à rester à jour avec les standards liés à la conception, aux technologies et aux composantes électroniques.

En utilisant des composantes de pointe, vous aurez à concevoir et à documenter des circuits numériques (CPU, FPGA, interfaces à haute-vitesse jusqu'à 224 Gbps) et des circuits analogiques (convertisseurs, DC/DC, AC/DC, etc.), vous aurez aussi à guider les concepteurs CAD lors de la réalisation des PCB.

En collaboration avec les groupes de composantes et les groupes d’achat, vous aurez gérer la liste des composantes (BoM) et la structure de coût des produits (CoG) y étant associée.

Vous aurez à créer et à mettre en œuvre les plans de tests requis pour la qualification et la caractérisation des prototypes, vous aurez aussi à assister les groupes de productions pour le transfert en usines des produits en vue d’en faire la production de masse.

Comme concepteur principal vous serez aussi appeléàinfluencer certainesorientations technologiques du groupe et partciper aux études de faisabilité menant à la création des produits.

Ce que nous recherchons

Compétences techniques

  • Connaissance approfondie des architectures avec processeurs (CPU, DDR, FLASH, PCIe, périphérique, écran, etc.);
  • Connaissance des bus et standards de communication (PCIe, Ethernet, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, I2C, etc.)
  • Connaissance approfondie de requis d’implémentation PCB pour les FPGA (Xilinx, Intel);
  • Connaissance approfondie des règles de conception de circuits à hautes-vitesses;
  • Connaissance des circuits de charge et de gestions des batteries;
  • Connaissance des outils de capture de schémas et de CAD Xpedition de Mentor Graphics
  • Connaissance des outils et principes de gestions de vie d’un produit (BoM, CoG, ECR/ECO, etc.)
  • Connaissance des principes de télécommunication (Fibre, Ethernet, LTE, 5G, etc.);
  • Expérience de conception de circuits analogiques, incluant les alimentations, serait un atout;
  • Expérience en certification (EMI, Safety, Wireless) serait un atout;
  • Connaissance et aisance avec les langages scripté (PERL, Pyhton) serait un atout;
  • Curieux, persévérant et passionné par la technologie et par l’innovation;
  • Autonomie et sens de l’organisation;

Expérience pertinente : Plus de 10années d’expérience dans un poste de concepteur en électronique

Exigence linguistique :Français et anglais (parlé et écrit).

Formation : Baccalauréat en génie électrique, électronique.

Autre: Doit avoir les bonnes autorisations et papiers pour travailler légalement au Canada.
