We are a fast paced, production-oriented machine shop with plenty of opportunity for growth. We ship our product all over North America and are recognized as a premier brand that supports the diesel truck aftermarket. We are a growing shop looking for new additions to the team as we expand. If you are an experienced CNC Programmer or Machinist, we have room for you in our expanding operation.

Our current focus is on expanding our Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

As a member of the CNC Team, you will:

  • Program and set up CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models and input the product design into the computer modeling software.
  • Adjust machine settings to the desired product specifications
  • Troubleshoot and maintain machines
  • Test accuracy of settings and programs
  • Design and manufacture tooling required for production
  • Order components necessary to build tooling
  • Assist in the training and development of machine shop personnel
  • Collaborate with other departments on efforts such as R&D projects, launching new product, innovation and standardization of best practices.
  • Work independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
  • Typically report to a supervisor/manager.

Who You Are?

  • CNC Machining Experience: CNC Vertical, Horizontal Milling and or CNC Lathe: Minimum 5 years of experience required
  • Red Seal Journeyman Machinist or Equivalent.
  • Formal training in CNC programming.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Knowledgeable in G Code
  • Mechanical aptitude and sound knowledge of machine tooling
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member
  • Willingness to learn and improve your skills.

BD Diesel is a supporter and sponsor of CNC apprenticeships all the way up to a Journeyman Qualification.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38.00-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
