Job Duties:

  1. Research and Analysis to understand industry and customer trends to effectively leverage customer engagement strategies.
  2. Support in developing customer journeys that outline the customer needs and interactions at various touchpoints.
  3. Support in developing customer blueprints that outline the coordination of cross-functional teams involved in the implementation of customer journeys.
  4. Business analysis and documentation.
  5. Data analysis and reconciliation of various data sources.
  6. Extract, transform and analyze data to answer key business questions.
  7. Compile insights and analyses into Excel, PowerPoint, or other formats as required with clear visualizations to convey complex concepts and data to non-technical audiences.
  8. May perform additional projects upon request.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Currently enrolled in the 3rd year of a university program in Business, Computer Science or Math preferred, other university programs in information systems discipline will be considered.
  2. Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with strong consulting and problem-solving ability.
  3. Experience in the Electricity Industry (Power & Utilities, Renewables, etc.) is preferred.
  4. Familiarity with UI/UX skills (Figma, Miro experience).
  5. Customer service skills to support users.
  6. Gather and synthesize internal and external information.

Skills you will develop:

  1. Critical thinking.
  2. Business and process analysis experience.
  3. Time management and planning.

Hydro One requires that all students applying for student opportunities be enrolled in post-secondary level studies and be returning to full-time studies upon the completion of their work term.
