About This Role

TDS has embarked on a multi-year digital transformation of Global Transaction Banking to position the transaction bank as a leading North American multi-currency treasury provider, enabling significant business growth across the TDS franchise. This role presents an opportunity to design and develop the build the next-generation of GTB's transaction banking capabilities to (i) extend a highly successful GTB business into the US and Canada; and (ii) to future-proof business with a platform that can evolve at minimal cost as client and industry needs & expectations continue to evolve. We are looking for a talented senior engineer with, Java/Spring Boot automation experience to join the team to build & execute test processes, ensure quality control standards for GTB.

Responsibilities:

• Being a part of GTB Technology team, be responsible for hands-on development of automated test processes and executions of GTB applications
• Analyze and identify test scenarios to be automated
• Utilize standard test automation frameworks to design, build and maintain programs/scripts
• Actively participate in scrum ceremonies of multiple workstreams, coordinate with all cross functional team members
• Conduct proof of concept on new technologies automated test processes, vendor solutions.
• As required, able to participate in hands-on development build work, review and code check-ins and work with developers.
• Ability to break-down functional requirements into technical requirements by creating appropriate technical/data solutions.
• Able to resolve/troubleshoot, suggest solutions for post-production defects and issues.
• Participate in design discussions on scalability, performance, security, best practices.

Must Have:

• 4+ years of experience in Test Automation using Selenium-Java-Springboot.
• Experience in creating/maintaining automation BDD/TDD framework (Using Cucumber, Maven,Jenkins)
• 3+ years of API testing experience
• Hands on experience web-based applications, and rest APIs
• Hands on experience using tools like Postman, and version control tools such as Git, Bitbucket.
• Strong knowledge writing SQL/NoSQL queries.
• Very good knowledge on test processes and hands-on experience of preparing testing artifacts such as test plan, strategy, Test cases, status reports.
• Has Worked in an Agile Environment.

Nice to Have:

• Cloud platforms experience (ideally Azure) and related technologies (e.g., Spring Cloud)
• React/Typescript/Javascript hands-on development experience
• Knowledge of testing background in the Canadian financial services industry

Education/Accreditations:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
