Salary: Based on experience

About you
To be successful, you should have:
1+ years of experience practicing litigation law
Called to the Bar in Ontario and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
Demonstrated experience in handling various stages of litigation proceedings.
Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service excellence.

About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
Research cases, identify issues, develop strategies
Draft legal docs for court proceedings —pleadings, motions, affidavits, etc.
Represent clients in court, trials, arbitrations, and mediations
Conduct examinations, cross-examinations
Negotiate settlements and ADR processes.
Build relationships with clients, experts, and lawyers.
Provide ongoing legal advice, guidance, and interest protection
Stay updated on legal changes, trends
Manage caseload prioritizing tasks
Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality
