Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.As a core member of our Private Assets team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.About You:You have a University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or professional accounting designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, CPA).4+ years’ experience in managing a team of Fund Accountants, Senior Fund Accountants and Supervisors3 - 5 years of fund accounting experience in either a Private Equity Fund, Private Equity Fund Administrator or other financial institution where the accountant has gained financial products knowledgeKnowledge of US/Canadian GAAP and other comprehensive basis of accountingExperience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statementsProven experience in managerial roleStrong leadership, organizational, and time-management skillsStrong project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-taskStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Especially Excel and Word), experienced user of the FIS Investran PE accounting platform highly desirableOur BenefitsYour well being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success. Accommodations are available upon request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection.#INDCITYour Role:Lead and manage the team to achieve departmental and organizational goalsImplement strategic plans to achieve business objectivesEnsure efficient and effective day-to-day operationsOversee periodical Net Asset Value calculations for the Private Equity Funds, including Financial Statement preparation, trial balance review and Partner/Shareholder Allocation calculations.Review the calculation of fund specific expenses, including admin fees, management fees, carried interest and other applicable feesReview accounting work, capital events, other client deliverables, investor statements and reporting prepared by staffEnsure documentation is compliant with internal and external/regulatory standardsReview private equity funds’ partnership agreements, PPMs and other materialsEnsure compliance with internal policies/procedures/best practices, external standards, and regulatory requirementsImplement and monitor quality control proceduresMaintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all aspects of operations and ensure all client SLAs are metLiaise with Investor Relations, Waterfall, Tax, Financial Reporting and other Citco groups/teams globallyAct as a liaison with Clients on matters relating to Fund Accounting servicesEnsure timely and accurate responses to client queriesAct as a liaison with external partiesCoordinate, manage and monitor external audit processesProvide technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients as neededWork closely with Client Integration team (including new client onboarding and conversions)Manage and coordinate the activities of team membersProvide direction, support, and mentorship to team membersConduct regular meetings to communicate objectives, updates and expectationsEvaluate team performance, providing timely feedback and conducting performance reviewsIdentify skill gaps and training needs within the team.
