Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager with a strong focus on governance and compliance to join their stable finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing finance operations with a close eye on ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

  • Lead and manage a team of Two Specialists to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage the preparation and review of Monthly BAS, Annual IT & FBT returns
  • Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on changes to financial regulations and proactively adapt policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field;
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role with a focus on compliance.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
