Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  1. Develops, recommends, documents, implements and manages the technical architecture (hardware, software, database and communications) which will be used for all or specific applications in a large, distributed cross-platform environment.
  2. Responsibilities also include the identification of relevant information and the determination of the environment, which will be used for development.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

IT Architecture Experience:

  1. Leadership experience in the development and implementation of technical architectures at a senior level
  2. Extensive experience in systems analysis and design in large enterprise environments e.g., preparing conceptual, logical and/or physical processes and data models.
  3. Experience supporting IT Infrastructure modernization, maintenance and the development of new solutions (services, tools, applications, databases, applications, etc.)
  4. Experience rapidly and succinctly documenting architecture designs

Technical Experience:

  1. Experience supporting the design of Esri-based geospatial solutions, ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Image Server
  2. Experience with multiple spatial and non-spatial database technologies e.g., Oracle Spatial, Azure SQL DB, MS Fabric, PostgreSQL
  3. Experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure e.g., virtual hardware, scaling, middleware, gateways, storage, and levels of highly available deployments

Communication Experience:

  1. Experience communicating technical concepts to Client audiences
  2. Experience negotiating to achieve consensus
  3. Experience supporting stakeholder engagement

Must Have Requirements:
