What you’ll do
  • Support agile innovative infrastructure solutions that take advantage of cloud technology for cost optimization and standardization.
  • Collaborate with the team to build Cloud IaC (Infrastructure as Code) standards and implementation.
  • Work closely with geographically distributed teams on technical challenges and process improvements.
  • Manage OS, Load balancers, and Web server-related issues and configuration.
  • Lead the repave or patching activity seamlessly with the help of IaC automation.
  • Provide on-call support and take ownership of deliverables while leading the team.
What you bring to the role
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP is critical, with a preference for GCP.
  • Expertise in Mail Server or SMTP Relay and Source Code Control Management such as Git is essential.
  • Skilled in Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins CI/CD.
  • Over five years of experience in Linux administration with extensive knowledge of RedHat, CentOS, Debian, and similar systems.
  • Proficient in Kernel Tuning, Performance Optimization, and Patch Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in SSL Certificate Management and knowledge of protocols including DNS, LDAP, and SMTP.
  • Expertise in Shell and Python scripting, along with knowledge of observability tools like Elastic is crucial.
Working arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Halifax, NS. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance through our various wellbeing programs.
