Youd take on key responsibilities in audit, accounting, tax, and advisory services, collaborating closely with senior managers and partners. Youll have the chance to lead a team in a fast-paced, supportive environment while managing a variety of client accounts.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the accounting, audit and tax service needs of a portfolio of international private and public clientsManage the engagement process from initial scheduling and planning through to client review and financial statement sign offMeet with clients regarding financial statements, other business matters and engagement issuesProvide journal entry and account reconciliation guidance to clientsSupport of personal and corporate tax filing for many of these clientsDiscuss proposed time budgets with partners and assign engagement budgets to staffIdentify new business opportunities with new and existing clientsManage a team of AccountantsQualificationsA minimum completion of University Degree with a specialization in AccountingCPA, CA or equivalent designation obtained or close to completion preferredA minimum of 4 years of public accounting experience is requiredA passion for client service with a proven track record of supporting client’s adherence to reporting timelinesExcellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skillsSound judgment regarding confidential and sensitive mattersStrong knowledge of accounting and assurance principlesExperience with audit, accounting and tax softwareIf you are interested in a great career opportunity with a growing, flexible and dynamic organization, please applyWelch LLP welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
