Program Overview

This position is part of the Mueller Development Program (MDP), a two-year initiative designed to enhance leadership skills, technical knowledge, and confidence. The program offers a wide range of experiences, professional development opportunities, mentorship, and organized events. Upon successful completion, Electrical Engineering MDP participants will secure a full-time placement at Mueller. Rotation locations are determined based on business needs and individual career aspirations.

Electrical Engineering Track Overview

Our Electrical Engineering Development Program provides exposure to Hardware Design, Firmware Engineering, Product Management, Test Engineering, Software Development, Data Analysis, and Field Operations. Participants will work with various programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and Visual Basic. Projects are not theoretical but deliver tangible value to the business from day one. Desired skills include being a team player, critical thinker, adaptable, and an effective problem solver.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electronics
  • 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Working knowledge of Hardware/Embedded Software development life cycle
  • Knowledge of Electronic and Mechanical manufacturing process
  • Familiarity with electronic measurement equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope)
  • Familiarity with electronic component parameters and reading datasheets

Preferred:

  • Basic knowledge of RF concepts spanning transmitter and receiver architecture, RF principles, antennas
  • Familiarity with sensor technologies, creating schematics & bill of materials
  • Able to investigate problems to the root cause and champion the creation and implementation of corrective actions
