CE is a subsidiary of the largest independent HVAC/R distribution company in the world, Watsco, Inc. CE proudly distributes the Carrier, Bryant and Payne brands of HVAC equipment for the use in Commercial and Residential markets, as well as a full line of aftermarket parts, supplies, and accessories. CE has 36 locations across Canada. We are currently accepting internal and external applications for a Counter/Shipper in our Sales Centre branch in Kelowna, British Columbia .
The Opportunity
- Ensure that equipment is stored and protected from damage and readily available for shipment
- Handle all shipping and receiving duties, including physical distribution to customers, storage of products within the warehouse and receiving incoming materials and equipment
- Prepare documentation of both incoming and outgoing equipment and parts
- Maintain the warehouse facility in a safe and clean manner
- Provide sales assistance as required and backup sales coverage during absence of team members
- Provide top quality service to our customers
- Handle customer calls and inquiries
- Maintenance of the showroom, including stocking shelves, merchandise and inventory maintenance
What You Offer
- Previous experience in technical/sales roles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude and customer service oriented
- Computer literate
- Strong organization skills and the ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
- Able to operate the forklift operator
- Proficiency in e-commerce solutions and environment
- Preference will be given to those who have previous HVACR wholesale experience and/or who have graduated from a HVAC/R technical program
