TalentWorld is recruiting Operations Officer II in Markham, ON for one of our top financial clients.

Operation Officer II Key Responsibilities

  • Open new commercial deposit accounts and process account change requests, including updates in signing authority and additional accounts via Letter of Direction.
  • Secure and compile essential supporting documents, ensuring they meet stringent banking compliance standards.
  • Uphold AML, regulatory, and legal compliance requirements to protect the bank from risk.
  • Deliver outstanding service to partners and customers, demonstrating urgency and commitment to resolving issues. Take ownership of every situation to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Engage in team meetings and work closely with colleagues to meet benchmarks and adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Analyze and understand complex legal documents related to banking operations.
  • Master new systems and applications with ease, leveraging your computer skills and knowledge of MS Suite applications.

Operations Officer II Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years in administrative work or as an Operations Officer, with experience in a banking or financial institution preferred.
  • Bilingual in French is an asset.
  • Basic understanding of AML compliance.
  • Computer savvy with a minimum typing speed of 60-65 words per minute.
  • Conscientious and detail-oriented to mitigate risks.
  • Ability to review and understand complex legal documents.
  • Knowledge of Host applications and C3 systems is a plus.

Employment Details:

  • Salary: $22.00 an hour
  • Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Hybrid
  • Duration: 1 year contract with possibility of extension
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday- 3 days on-site,2 days remote
  • Working hours: 8:30AM to 5:00PM
  • Location: Markham, ON
