Your function

I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a company in the food industry located in Chambly, for a Production Supervisor - Day shift - Permanent position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks:

  1. Ensure the smooth running of production activities
  2. Plan work flow on production lines
  3. Coordinate production teams to achieve company objectives
  4. Manage the work teams of the various departments and ensure the smooth running of plant operations
  5. Pass on good OHS and HACCP practices to your team and ensure compliance with standards
  6. Identify and resolve production efficiency problems
  7. Train teams (tasks, hygiene, quality, safety standards, etc.)
  8. Other related tasks

Your profile
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar position, in the manufacturing field (agri-food an asset)
  • DEP, DEC or BAC
  • French, English an asset
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards an asset
  • Salary: 60k - 70k, depending on experience

On-site position on day shift - Monday to Friday, full insurance, company RRSP, vacation, and other company benefits.
