We have created some of the most incredible features all across Ontario and Canada. Including over 50 habitats at the Toronto Zoo, Ontario Science Center, Casino Rama and many many more.Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Apprentice Artificial Rock and Water creator at Rockscapes of Canada Inc. As an Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting with construction projects, including landscape installations, hardscape installations, and general site maintenance. You will work closely with experienced Rockscapers to learn the craft and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of constructing artificial rock and waterfeatures. There will be 3 weeks of in-class/ online learning as well as a full week inside the sandbox to design and build your own waterfeatures.This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment, as well as travel, a great attitude and the willingness to learn. Qualifications Experience in construction or landscapingAbility to follow instructions and learn new skillsPhysical strength and stamina to perform manual laborAttention to detail and ability to work with precisionGood communication and teamwork skillsKnowledge of basic construction tools and equipmentValid driver's license and ability to operate machineryExperience with rockwork and landscaping projects is a plusAdditional certifications or training in construction or landscaping is beneficialany artistic talent or interest is beneficial
