The successful candidate will serve as the lead technology expert, overseeing the transition from legacy Oracle ERP system to a new, cutting-edge ERP solution. This pivotal role entails close collaboration with IT and Business stakeholders, including senior executives like the CIO and CFO, to ensure seamless execution of the project within specified timelines and budgetary constraints.

TalentWorld is recruiting a Principal Consultant - ERP Implementation in Toronto, ON for one of its clients.

Principal Consultant (ERP Implementation) Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of business requirements and processes, identifying optimal ERP solutions tailored to needs.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, comprising business analysts, developers, and testers, to deliver top-notch ERP solutions, adhering to project timelines and budgetary guidelines.
  • Facilitate client workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements gathering exercises to gain insights into business objectives, subsequently translating them into actionable ERP system configurations.
  • Design, configure, customize, and integrate ERP applications, employing industry best practices and standards to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Develop and execute meticulous test plans and scripts to validate the quality and performance of ERP solutions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for ERP applications, promptly resolving issues and bugs as they arise.
  • Conduct comprehensive end-user training sessions and provide ongoing support to stakeholders, ensuring proficient utilization and maintenance of ERP applications.
  • Stay abreast of the latest ERP features and technologies, offering recommendations for enhancements and improvements as needed.
Principal Consultant (ERP Implementation) Job Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in ERP development and consulting.
  • Proficient understanding of financial and accounting practices, enabling effective support for end-users.
  • Expertise in ERP, Power Platform, Azure, and SQL Server.
  • Demonstrated experience across various ERP modules, including Finance and Operations, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Field Service.
  • Strong background in ERP integration with diverse systems and applications via web services, APIs, and connectors.
  • Hands-on experience in ERP customization and configuration, leveraging tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Logic Apps.
  • Proficiency in ERP testing and deployment methodologies, utilizing tools like DevOps, Azure DevTest Labs, and Lifecycle Services.
  • Certification in ERP 365 or Power Platform is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Employment Details:
  • Salary: Competitive salary based on experience (Canadian experience required)
  • Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Hybrid, Contract.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Location: Toronto
