Job Title: GCP Security Architect

Job Location: Canada (Remote)

Job Description For GCP (Google Cloud Platform) Security L3/Architect

Cloud Security Engineer should be proficient in different aspects of cloud security and not limited to - IAM, configuring network security defences, data protection, defining organizational structure, policies, and guardrails, monitoring environments for threat using Cloud technologies.

Skills Required
  1. 7+ years of experience in designing/providing Point of Views and implementing cybersecurity solutions.
  2. Relevant 3+ years of cloud security experience in designing integration and implementation of security solutions.
  3. GCP cloud experience is a must.
  4. Thorough understanding of security best practices, industry security requirements, and Zero Trust approach.
  5. Knowledge of industry compliance standards and security standards including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS.
  6. Fundamentals of Terraform and GitHub will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities

GCP Cloud Security Architect will primarily be responsible for:

  1. Implementing overall cybersecurity solutions, guardrails, and configurations for cloud.
  2. Reviewing information security requirements, defining/configuring security controls/guardrails, and enhancing cloud security standards.
  3. Formulating a mitigation plan and implementing the mitigation controls.
  4. Communicating and managing client needs and expectations in all phases of their information security solutions.
  5. Recommending and implementing a zero trust approach for cloud security.
  6. Working independently with internal and external stakeholders regarding security requirements.
Qualifications
  1. B. Tech / MCA degree or equivalent.
  2. Working experience in GCP.
  3. GCP certification will be an added advantage (Professional Cloud Security Engineer).
  4. Over 7 years of relevant Cyber Security experience, with over 3 years of relevant experience in cloud security implementation.
  5. Leading cybersecurity certifications will be an added advantage - CISSP, CCSP, CCSK certification or ISO27700/1/2/5 or ISO31000, similar certification is beneficial.
  6. Working knowledge of Security Architecture for infrastructure components (networks, servers etc.) as well as applications and data.
