Insights & Forecasting Analyst  

The Insights & Forecasting Analyst is the primary analytics point of

contact to internal partners and is accountable for leading all aspects of primary and secondary marketing research information and developing insights for assigned brands. The position provides recommendations and support for key commercial decisions (strategic and tactical). In addition, the role coordinates specific resources/expertise in CI & A and Commercial Operations to address partner needs.

Bayer is committed to a flexible hybrid working environment. This is a 12-month temporary Contract position.

What you will do:  

•Assists in identifying and prioritizing commercial knowledge and insight gaps, as well as key business decisions.

•Implementation of primary research projects that address commercial information/insight gaps or decisions

•Development and implementation of secondary research reports and metrics for teams to track and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPI s) and outcomes

•Delivers high quality market and product reports/insights with marketing implications for the brand, as well as leading of insight projects to drive deep customer learning.

•Support the development of National and Provincial forecasts for assigned promoted brands to support Commercial partners.

•Ensures that projects and procedures are conducted in accordance with internal compliance policies.

Who you are:  

  • University Degree in Business, Commerce, Statistics, or Economics
  • 2 years Pharma Primary Marketing Research
  • 2 years Pharma Secondary data analysis and sources (eg: IMS Brogan)
  • 2 years Pharma Forecasting, both market based and epidemiology
  • Good Analytical skills
  • Good Technical/Computer systems knowledge (eg: Excel, Tableau, Word, Powerpoint, SPSS, SQL and Python)
  • Good Strategic thinking skills
