Sr. Software Developer (AI)

Location: This is a hybrid role with a minimum in-office requirement of 3 days per week at our Ottawa, ON office located at 40 Hines Rd, Ottawa, ON K2K 2M5, Canada.

Position Summary:
As an applied AI/ML Developer working on Trend Vision One Platform, you will collaborate with a global team to develop novel and best-in-class AI-Powered solutions to secure our customers' digital world.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply AI/ML skills on large scale datasets across the platform for AI-powered features (security companion, attack surface insights, risk assessment, risk quantification...)
  • Design, implement and maintain effective MLOps pipelines to assure accuracy, validity and reliability of data/ML and LLM models.
  • Design, build and operate robust AI-based and GenAI-based services in Vision One Platform with customer insight for better service quality.
  • Collaborate with data platform staff on scalable systems for high performance data transform, feature engineering and data correlation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields AND 2+ years experience in ML/AI work OR equivalent experience.
  • Strong working experience in machine learning and big data analysis, which can include predictive analytics, time series forecasting, deep learning, knowledge graph systems or GenAI.
  • Strong machine learning breadth and depth with solid experience developing using frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow or scikit-learn.
  • Proficiency in programming skills in Python, Go or similar language.
  • Working knowledge of credit scorecard/scoring system, fraud detection, risk assessment/cyber security frameworks (NIST RMF, NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, FAIR, COBIT5, ISO...) is a plus.
