Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Personal Lines Insurance Broker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch sales and customer service, assessing and fulfilling the insurance needs of our clients both in person, online, and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Risk Management: Analyze client-specific risk exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Sales & Service: Quote and write new business for new and existing clients, while maintaining service levels for an assigned book of business.
  • Renewals & Endorsements: Review for accuracy and make necessary updates.
  • Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell existing clients.
  • Claims Management: Submit and follow up on claims promptly and efficiently.
  • Account Management: Ensure overall account management and retention through renewal reviews and prompt response to service requests.
  • Customer Service: Deliver superior customer service while adhering to high professional standards and workflows.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with company partner products, offerings, and market intelligence.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with internal colleagues to resolve issues or enhance service opportunities.
  • Industry Relationships: Develop and maintain strong industry relationships.
  • Target Achievement: Meet assigned production targets by increasing revenues with existing clients.
  • Follow-Ups: Maintain up-to-date follow-ups and activities.
  • Additional Duties: Perform various duties as assigned and support other team members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • RIBO licensed
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Lines Insurance CSR Broker
  • Experience with TAM/Epic is an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
