Description:

Looking for either a Building Mechanical OR Electrical Engineer

Overall Objectives:
  1. Provide facility engineering services for Company Canada Engineering.
  2. Develop specifications and bid packages for facility projects.
  3. Manage construction and equipment installation projects.
  4. Develop equipment standards and operating procedures for the operation of facility equipment.
  5. Manage third party maintenance services of facility equipment and buildings.

This position is % on-site. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Project Manager for facility projects to meet timing, specifications, and cost objectives (Includes all aspects of projects outside of Mechanical Engineering)
  2. Review design documents during their development and prior to bidding
  3. Monitor construction work in the field by mechanical and utility contractors
  4. Provide input and analysis on Value Engineering ideas to reduce project scope and cost

Requirements:

Looking for either a Building Mechanical OR Electrical Engineer with:

  1. - years construction management experience
  2. Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with - years engineering experience
  3. Detailed knowledge of various codes and standards
  4. Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets
  5. Experience working in a unionized environment
  6. Strong project management, organizational, teamwork, written, and verbal communication skills

Additional Must Haves:

  • - years engineering experience with facility electrical and mechanical systems
  • Proficient in MS Office programs and AutoCAD
  • Strong project management skills, organizational skills, teamwork, written, and verbal communication.
Location:

This position is Onsite - % (Automotive Research and Development Centre)

Required to drive a Stellantis vehicle during the assignment: YES

Amount of travel: Frequent travel within City of Windsor, infrequent travel to US and other parts of Ontario.
