Join us as an Sr. Architectural Technologist (Construction Administration) in Calgary Architectural Practice. This role will expose you to working drawings ranging from mixed use, commercial, and residential mid-rise (wood frame) and high-rise buildings. You will be a part of the team that will support with design development, working drawings and detailing. The successful candidate will offer a robust portfolio of details and construction documents showing an array of projects and a holistic understanding of the design process. As the successful candidate, youwill be an out-of-the-box thinker with a talent for developing creative detailing solutions. Role Accountabilities:

• Prepare working drawings on a number of different projects using Revit
• Prepare documentation -design development, building permits and tender packages
• Coordinate the architectural and engineering disciplines along with external consultants to produce high quality and well coordinated documents for construction.
• Review and comment of Contract Documents
• Review and comment of Specifications
• Review and comment of shop drawing submittals together with technical data sheet
• Site Review and Meeting coordination
• Reporting, Supplemental Instruction Contemplated Change Notice, Change Orders, review and issuance of Certificate for Payment
• Consultant coordination and liaison

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5-8years ofexperience in an architectural firm
• Diploma in Architectural Technology
• MUST be a proficient user of Revit and Microsoft Office software knowledge and experience
• Knowledge and experience in construction administration
• Experience working with mid-rise (wood frame) and high-rise projects
• Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
• Experience with project coordination and possess a strong ability to meet tight project deadlines
