Job Function:

Our client is a significant player in the Real Estate/Asset Management sector with a growing team in the Markham area. They are looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to the team with exceptional Financial Modelling skills and strong business acumen.

The role will report to a Manager who will continuously challenges the candidate to lead change, identify opportunities to add value, and take on increasing levels of responsibility. You will underwrite new revenue generating /cost savings initiatives, partnering with multiple function to iterate on ambiguous requirements and improve the company's competitive position in the market. As well, build our robust financial models based on business requirements, with focus on automated data refresh/results validation. You will also use SQL to explore and analyze financial data to deliver actionable insights and partner with the business to mitigate risk and capitalize opportunities.

  • CPA or CFA
  • 2+ years complex financial modelling experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, analytical and problem solving skills
