Bridge Civil Engineering Student

As the successful candidate, you will:

  1. Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks for various infrastructure projects.
  2. Coordination with other technicians and related disciplines to produce design deliverables.
  3. Compilation of design drawings.
  4. Preparing design submissions and other technical documents.
  5. Provide assistance to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed.

You bring to the role:

  1. Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering co-op program.
  2. Relevant courses: Hydraulics, Fluid Mechanics, Project Management, Infrastructure Design/Planning, Construction Engineering.
  3. In good academic standing.
  4. Interested in Civil Engineering - bridges and miscellaneous structures as a career.
  5. Extracurricular involvement is considered an asset.
  6. Experience with municipal infrastructure, utility coordination, geotechnical field work, and construction is an asset.
  7. Experience in development of project layouts and civil details.
