Position: Full Time Payroll Administrator

Location: Williams Lake, BC

Salary: $31.65 an hour

Hours: 35 hours a week

Summary:

Axis Family Resources Ltd. is hiring a Full Time Payroll Administrator to work in Williams Lake, BC at the Agency head office. You will be is responsible for the operation of an internal payroll system with over 1200+ employees and maintaining accurate related payroll and benefit records, following accounting processes in accordance with all statutory requirements. You will be familiar with working with the collective agreement, following internal policies, and other payroll related tasks. The successful person will be working along a large finance team supporting the entire agency and reporting to the Payroll Administrator.

  • Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 1- 2 years experience working in payroll related position or a combination of training and experience.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Outlook.
  • Strong clerical and data entry skills.
  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma.
  • A Payroll Compliance Professional or Canadian Payroll certification would be considered an asset.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

You will have the ability to perform clerical work and data entry, with a keen eye for accuracy in in your work. Great customer service skills are an asset, along with the ability to complete arithmetic calculations and perform repetitious work under time constraints.
