In this role, you will contribute your subject‑matter expertise to a cutting‑edge project involving state‑of‑the‑art large language models. Specifically, you will help create high‑quality data that will inform the future of AI innovation by coming up with difficult problems in your domain. Qualifications Received your undergraduate degree in the US, UK, Canada, or Western Europe Received your graduate degree (or are currently studying) at a top US, UK, Canada, or Western European university Have high attention to detail Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills Have excellent proficiency in English Role Details The role is ongoing starting in November and continues with rolling applications This phase of the project is scoped to last 1–2 months Experts are expected to contribute 4–6 tasks per week, each taking several hours to complete The work is flexible (fully remote and asynchronous) The work will require rigorous mathematics expertise and the ability to follow complex instructions Compensation and Legal Status Legally classified as an hourly contractor Paid on a weekly cadence via Stripe Connect Screening Process You will need to complete a short AI interview and form—the whole application process should last 20–40 minutes About Mercor Mercor specializes in recruiting experts for top AI labs and is based in San Francisco, CA.
