Sabio Law LLP is a fast-growing law firm. We assist our clients in dispute resolution, real estate, commercial transactions, family law, and estate law. We are looking for a passionate, diligent, and experienced Commercial Litigation Associate Lawyer to join and grow with the firm.
Responsibilities include:

Advocating for clients at all levels of Court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal, Divisional Court, Superior Court of Justice, and the Commercial List.
Representing clients in matters relating to civil and commercial litigation, security enforcement, and insolvency-related litigation, including receiverships and bankruptcies;
Litigating debtor/creditor disputes involving guarantees, fraud, transfers at undervalue, injunctive relief and other bankruptcy-related matters;
Employment litigation.
Business and shareholders' disputes.
Construction lien disputes.
Handling complex files from intake to resolution with minimal guidance;
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and:

At least four + years of good standing with the Law Society of Ontario and experience in complex litigation.
Hold an LLB or JD from a recognized institution.
Be a team player with strong communication skills, adaptability, and ability to develop strong relationships with diverse clients.
Have an ability to handle a high volume of work promptly with strong attention to detail.
Excellent client service and organizational skills.
The existing book of business will be an asset.

A ++ in both written and oral advocacy.

The lawyer should preferably have at least four years of experience actively dealing with complex commercial litigation. The lawyer will have the support of other lawyers, law clerks, and legal assistants. The firm partners are passionate about helping the lawyers in their continuous professional development and growing business.
