About Us:

Canada West 653 Solutions is actively seeking experienced Journeyman Sand Blasters to join our team at our Nisku, Alberta facility. We are working on a large-scale, multi-year project that involves blasting and painting industrial steel for Mods used in the construction of a massive facility. This project, expected to last 3-4 years, offers a unique opportunity for long-term employment and career advancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform sandblasting tasks, including surface preparation and maintenance of blasting equipment.
  • Ensure all surfaces are thoroughly prepared for painting and coating applications.
  • Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment and tools according to safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and production goals.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman certification in Sand Blasting or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in industrial sandblasting, particularly on large-scale projects.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts with potential overtime.

Schedule:
