Technical Specialist – Procurement | Toronto, ON (Hybrid) | ContractThe Select Group is seeking a Technical Support to join of our top banking clients in the Toronto area. This group supports and manages all technical products used within the Procurement Center of Excellence (COE). Their scope covers the enhancements, management, integrations and deploying of technical solutions. They are currently in the requirements gathering stage of the procurement process integration and deployment project. The Technical Specialist will work directly with the hiring manager and support the bank's Oracle and Coupa platforms.Line of Business: ProcurementEst. Start Date: ASAPDuration: 6 months (possible extensions)Working Hours: Mon-Fri: 9am-5pm, 37.5 hours weeklyWorking Location: 250 Yonge Street, TorontoHybrid Work Requirements: 2 days on-site, 3 days remote per weekInterview Process: 2 rounds (1st rd - virtual on TEAMs, 2nd rd - in-person)Requirements:• 3+ years experience with Procurement ERP systems, ERP systems configurations, administration, and troubleshooting (hands on)• 3+ years experience building, managing, and designing technical solutions• Able to understand & navigate complex technical architecture• Technical documentation skills• Data analysis skills• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills• Experience with systems data integration technologies (API, cXML, Flat file) SAAS/Cloud solutions• Understanding of Procurement lifecycle in a financial services industryNice to Have Skills:• Hands-on experience with Coupa, Oracle EBS or any other Procurement ERP systems (ideally Coupa and Oracle)• SAP Ariba, Ivalua• Ability to kick off background checks when offer is accepted and start as soon as they are clear (looking to onboard ASAP)Role Responsibilities:• Technical documentation• Configuration and building solutions• Developing and executing test cases• Handle large data sets• Perform technical analysis• Recommend designs based on system capabilities• Help design integration file transfer between systems
