We (BQ International) are hiring a highly experienced Application Security Analyst for a Public Sector employer in Regina, SK. The ideal candidate will preferably work onsite in Regina for the term of the contract. Essential certifications include CISSP, OSCP, and/or cloud certifications.

Mandatory Requirements
  1. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Application Development and/or Web Application Security, focusing on testing and mitigating risks related to web applications and website development.
  2. Experience with web protocols, including HTTP, HTTPS, and SOAP.
  3. Proficiency in static and dynamic application security testing using SAST/DAST tools and manual techniques.
  4. Familiarity with cybersecurity standards such as CIS Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Application Security Testing and NIST 800-95 Standards.
  5. Knowledge of secure communication, authentication, and encryption protocols such as SAML, OAuth2, LDAP, and TLS/SSL Standards.

As this is a public sector role, we are specifically looking for candidates based in Canada, preferably located in Regina, with North American experience.
