Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This role involves leveraging expertise in equipment, tooling, and process optimization to enhance production efficiency and quality. You will work autonomously, with occasional guidance, in a dynamic environment, contributing to process improvement, tooling integration, and quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Tooling and Equipment Bulletins and Process Control Plans .
- Monitor warranty trends and collaborate on quality initiatives to address issues effectively.
- Represent and report on GA Maintenance concerns during daily quality meetings.
- Support Global Manufacturing System (GMS) activities, fostering standardized practices.
- Facilitate and update Chassis PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) activities.
- Initiate and manage risk reduction projects and process innovations.
- Integrate new equipment into existing processes, ensuring seamless operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all tire room-related activities.
- Collaborate with Vehicle Systems teams for tooling and process integration.
- Drive Throughput Improvement Projects and ensure delivery on Business Plan Deployment objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing or Process Engineering.
- Proficiency in one or more technical areas, including Manufacturing Project Management and Execution .
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems and process optimization.
- Experience in developing and maintaining PFMEAs .
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to address process and quality challenges.
