Hours per week: 40

Purpose of the Position

We are looking for an experienced maintenance manager for one of our residences located in the West Island. The Lumia and the Cambridge are two residences located very close to each other.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage apartment renovations in accordance with the program established by general management/the general manager
  2. Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
  3. Maintenance and monitoring of equipment (mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, pumps, furnaces, valves, etc.)
  4. Perform minor repairs in apartments and common areas
  5. Maintain and clean the premises
  6. Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
  7. Be available to respond to emergencies
Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Autonomy, dynamism, versatility, sense of organization, and initiative
  • Good judgment and priority management
  • Enjoy contact with people

Required qualifications:

  • A DEP in general building maintenance (an asset)
  • Experience in personnel management
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and minor repairs
  • Ease in the use of computer tools
  • CPR training
  • In-depth knowledge of the components of a residence/building’s installations
