A Business Intelligence Analyst plays a crucial role in helping organizations make informed decisions by analyzing and interpreting data.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, processing, and analyzing data from various sources to provide actionable insights, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making within the organization.
You will work closely with different departments to identify data-driven opportunities and improve business processes.
They play a crucial role in helping businesses understand their operations, customers, and market dynamics.
Data Collection & integration:
Gather data from various sources, such as databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
Integrate and combine data from multiple sources for comprehensive analysis.
Automate manual interventions when possible
Data Analysis:
Utilize statistical and analytical tools to analyze data and extract meaningful insights.
Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
Perform strategic analysis such as profitability analysis.
Perform exploratory data analysis to discover new opportunities or areas for improvement.
Reporting & Data Visualization:
Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present key findings, trends, and recommendations for decision-makers.
Use tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization software to convey insights.
Develop automated reporting solutions for ongoing monitoring.
Data monitoring & governance :
Ensure data compliance with relevant regulations and internal data governance policies.
Develop, maintain and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain detailed documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings for reference and future use.
Communication & Recommendations:
Provide data-driven recommendations and solutions to enhance operational performance, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
Present analysis results and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Prepare written reports and presentations.
Effectively convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with business and operations units to understand their objectives and translate data insights into actionable recommendations that drive business improvements.
Work with various departments, including marketing, finance, operations, HSEQ and IT, to support their data-related needs and projects.
Promoting and Achieving Safety
___________________ Are you a MATCH?Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g,. Power BI).
Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with process mapping and improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
Experience: 2-5 years experience in a similar role
