Job Purpose

As a Senior Retail Marketing Specialist, your creativity and expertise will drive our marketing efforts to new heights. This position will be responsible for developing, designing, executing and managing marketing tactics and creating engaging content to support different channels. 

Core Accountabilities

  • Manage and optimize the online marketing landscape for the AWIN Group of Dealerships and esteemed brands, including Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Volvo, Maserati, and Alfa Romeo dealerships.
  • Coordinate and execute sales event-based campaigns for the dealerships, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brands Identities and guidelines.
  • Ensure consistent, effective, and integrated online communications across all relevant channels, including websites, e-blasts, e-newsletters, and social media platforms for each dealership.
  • Collaborate with website providers and digital media partners to maximize online strategy performance.
  • Develop interactive initiatives and creative concepts in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver compelling marketing collateral across online, offline, and below-the-line channels to support marketing objectives.
  • Track leads and campaign KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate the production of online ads and email communications, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and industry standards.
  • Design creative content tailored to various platforms to drive monthly marketing efforts and overall communication strategy.
  • Support new dealership openings, relocations, and rebranding efforts in coordination with management teams.
  • Spearhead user experience improvements and content for all AWIN properties to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction (ie AWIN app, social platforms, website etc.)
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant completion of projects while meeting specified requirements.
  • Innovate and evolve ideas that align brand goals with retailer objectives and consumer needs.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Marketing Manager.

 Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree with a focus on Marketing and/or Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Advertising/Marketing, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency across various Adobe Creative Suite applications, with ability to integrate assets seamlessly across applications, solve creative problems effectively
  • Solid understanding of marketing channels and their impact on marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Automotive retail experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to navigate through contingencies and adapt to unexpected changes with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and working knowledge of HTML/CSS coding.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and troubleshooting technical issues.
