We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Financial Controller to join our client’s dynamic film production team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the film industry and a proven track record in financial management.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives and growth plans
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports to inform strategic decision-making
  • Manage financial risks and opportunities, including cash flow management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional growth
  • Collaborate with production teams to manage budgets, track expenses, and provide financial guidance
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting requirements
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement
  • Implement and maintain financial systems and processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with a strong preference for the film or entertainment industry
  • Proven track record in financial analysis and reporting
  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
